The church council provides planning & implementing programs of nurture, outreach, witness & resources for the congregation in education, membership, community, & stewardship.

Serves as the local church administrative unit in which lay and clergy spiritual leaders inegrate the staff and congregational interests to focus on themission of the church. Responsibilities include managing relationships between the pastor, any ordained leaders, lay staff, the congretaation, the community, the district superindendent and the United Methodist connectional church.

Your Trustees mange church property, equipment and investments to support the vision & mission of the church. This will include everything from maintaining adequate insurance coverage to maintenance of the air conditioner, heating, and/or any needed improvements relating to same. Annual reports are provided to the charge conference on the state of the church's property & resources.

The finance committee manages the financial system for the congregation. This includes depositing, recording & disbursing of funds; communicating the church's financial position to the congregation; maintaining integrity of the accounting books; preparation of the annual budget; monitoring the progress of the budget as the year unfolds; making recommendations for the anticipated budget shortfalls; working with committe chairs to ensure their goals are realistically attainable given the economies of the chruch; reporting finance activities to the Church Council; work with the church CPA/Accountant to insure each individual members' giving record is accurate and provide that record to each at the end of the church year or upon request at mid-year.

Serves as the lay representative of the laity fostering awareness of laity within the congreagation and through their ministries in the home, workplace, community & world. Assists in advising the church council of opportunities to develop understandings of the type of ministry that will most effectively fulfill the Church's mission.

Along with the pastor, the lay member assists in interpretations of the actions of the annual conference session reporting to the church council on actions of the annual conference as soon as possible.

Planning for lifelong faith formation. Their charge is planning & implementing experiences through which children, youth, & adults come to know God and discover ways to live as Christian disciples such as through Sunday School.

Central to the mission of the church sharing the blessing of the gospel with all age groups by the development, promotion and support of all phases of evangelism with general oversight of the evangelism ministries by developing resources and by training.

Provides sharing of information and/or planning and serving as advocates for ministries and supportive tasks including the needs and concerns of families of the congregation or community

Cultivates to the fullest possible meaning the worship celebrations of the Church including liturgy, preaching, the sacraments, music, related arts and the observance of the liturgical seasons of the Christian year.

An organization of lay women centered in relationship with God through Jesus Christ focused n ministries with women, children and youth; involved in mission programs locally & globally; nurturers and encouragers of one another in their spiritual growth and personal development.

Supporing spiritual growth among men, helping men to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual growth in other; to impower the ministry of Jesus Christ through men within the congregations of the UMC.
