work for the good of all....Galatians 6:10

From our Bell Choir to our Lay Ministry to our Youth & Children's Programs to service in local care facilities, we welcome you to get involved and be a part of our ministry serving our members and community. The blessings you receive through service are immeasurable!

We are reassured God has not forgotten his promises. Although we may be unable to understand why things happen, we are loved by a God who can redeem our situation and create something good.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."........... Isaiah 55:8-9

The annual teacher's luncheon will be held August 8th at First Baptist - Rusk. They have requested we assist with food. We will need 6 meat salads, 4 non-meat salads, 3 cakes (or 1 cakes and 2 pies) and 4 casseroles. If you can help, please let us know what you can bring. We'll need to have that at FUMC by 10:00am on the 8th to deliver all at one time.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rain fall soft upon your field;
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
